The holiday home at Muncaster View was just perfect for my stay! The kitchen had everything I needed to cook my own meals, making it convenient and budget-friendly. And let's not forget the two bathroom options - whether you prefer a relaxing bath or a quick shower, they've got you covered!
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the shower in one of the bathrooms. But hey, that's just my opinion, and I'm sure others might still find it perfectly enjoyable.

We had a fantastic stay at Muncaster View! The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with great tips for exploring the beautiful surrounding area. The villa itself was clean, well-equipped, and boasted stunning views from the windows. We were lucky with the weather, making our walks in the nearby countryside even more enjoyable. The location was peaceful and quiet, exactly what we wanted for a relaxing getaway. Although it was a working farm, it didn't bother us at all. The nearby Spar made it convenient for us to stock up on supplies. We also loved the short walk along the coast to Ravensglass and the opportunity to ride the "ratty" steam train. The cottage had everything we needed for self-catering, ensuring a comfortable stay. The linen and towels provided were fresh and clean, which was important to us. We appreciated the owner's recommendations on where the kids could swim and enjoy the river, as well as the breathtaking views and friendly locals we encountered. The only minor drawbacks were that the property was a bit expensive and required a car for transportation. we highly recommend Muncaster View Villa and would definitely consider returning in the future.

The natural beauty surrounding this property is absolutely breathtaking, with jaw-dropping views from every window. The cottage had everything we needed for a self-catering stay and the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. A short walk along the coast takes you to Ravensglass and the "ratty" steam train, where you can enjoy a well-earned drink at the ratty pub. The location is perfect for exploring the Lake District, with easy access to off-site car parking. The cleanliness of the linen and freshly washed towels exceeded our expectations. Plus, it was a bonus that pets are allowed and there is a no-smoking policy on site. We had an unforgettable experience and can't wait to go back!

Guests have been lucky with the weather , and the beautiful views from the windows have exceeded their expectations. the cottage provides everything needed for a comfortable self-catering experience, including fully stocked kitchens. there are walking trails nearby and a steam train for visitors to explore.
Some guests mentioned that the furniture downstairs is a bit dated and there was a slight smell, potentially from previous guests' pets.
